West Yorkshire Schools Athletics Association

Welcome to our new West Yorkshire Schools Athletics Association webpage. This will take over from our Facebook page as the ‘go to information link’ for all things linked to WYSAA and ESAA Athletics. The content on our webpage will only include Track & Field and Cross Country links. The website will celebrate our success through content and Roll of Honour. There will be links to ESAA page, Fastrax and Leeds Beckett University. There is also email and mobile links to myself and Steve.

West Yorkshire schools is the umbrella organsisation schools’ athletics within our 5 areas, Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield.

We are an organsisation that leads on schools’ athletics within our county. We have no grant aid and all events and competition is funded via schools, areas and family donations. If you would like to be a benefactor to our organisation, please contact myself or Steve to discuss. Below is a link to our donations collection pot if you feel you’d like to support us.

Congratulations to all athletes selected for the West Yorkshire Schools Athletics Team for ESAA Championships Birmingham July 11th & 12th 2025.

5 reserves have also been named where replacement is required in Track or Field events, the only stipulation is a junior boy must replace a junior boy in the same event and so on.
